Life Raft Treats® was founded by Cynthia Wong. In 2019, the James Beard Foundation honored Cynthia with her sixth Outstanding Pastry Chef semifinalist nomination for her work at Life Raft Treats®. We celebrate the ice cream truck goodies of yesteryear by reinventing them with humor and artisan techniques.

We're the OGs. the real creators of Not Fried Chicken® ice cream. Cynthia created this crispy, crunchy, creamy and just a little bit salty dream of an ice cream bar in January 2018, drawing inspiration from the beloved fast food fried chicken of her childhood and her mother's Burmese fried chicken, which she pestered her mom to make no less than 7 nights a week.
